How to Create Voice Announcements

Turn a line of text into a professional AI voice announcement that plays automatically between your music tracks — no recording equipment needed.

Step 1: Create an Announcement

Tap Ads in the bottom menu, then tap the + button in the top right. This opens the Create Announcement screen.

Give your announcement a Campaign Title — this is just for your reference (e.g. "Daily Specials" or "Welcome Message"). Then write your script in the Script field. A character counter shows how much of the 500-character limit you've used — 500 characters is around 30 seconds of audio. Keep sentences short and natural — the AI voices read them aloud exactly as written.

Step 2: Set How Often It Plays

Under Playback Frequency, choose how many music tracks should play between each announcement. Options are: 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 10, or 15 tracks. Setting it to 4 means your announcement plays after every 4 music tracks. Leave it off if you want to pause an announcement without deleting it.

Step 3: Pick a Voice and Preview

Tap on each voice name to hear a short sample. Voices vary in style, accent, and tone — pick the one that fits your venue. Once you've chosen, tap Generate Audio Preview to hear how your actual script sounds. Tweak your script and regenerate as many times as you like — it's free. When you're happy, tap Save.

Step 4: Managing Announcements

You can have multiple announcements active at once. Tap on any announcement in your list to edit the title, script, frequency, or voice. Toggle the switch next to an announcement to turn it on or off without deleting it. Tap the trash icon to permanently delete an announcement.

Tips and Things to Know:

- Announcements play in creation order — oldest first, based on frequency settings.

- If you have shuffle enabled on a playlist, the announcements will be shuffled along with the tracks.

- Keep it simple to start — set up one announcement at a time before adding more.

- Too many announcements too close together can interrupt the music more than intended.

- Scripts work best when written as natural spoken sentences. Avoid bullet points, abbreviations, or special characters the AI might stumble over.

- You can use announcements for daily specials, welcome messages, Wi-Fi passwords, upcoming events, or any recurring message for your customers.
